Sophia – Pregnancy Support Group was founded in early 2016 by Giovanna and Chris in memory of their daughter, Sophia, who was born sleeping on 10th December 2015. Gio and Chris wanted to set up a support group in their daughter’s memory to help support other bereaved parents and their family members.

The bereavement group grew from strength to strength and in January 2017, Sophia – Pregnancy Loss Support became a registered charity (Registered Charity Number: 1171082). All money raised is used to comfort and support people who have suffered the loss of a baby during pregnancy.
